The third weekend of 2021 came with a bang as fans gritted their teeth since the Warner Bros company announced that the Godzilla vs Kong trailer would be on 24th January, Sunday.

The Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros will bring life to screen with Godzilla vs Kong, the fourth installment to the shared fictional universe. This American multimedia franchise known as MonsterVerse is responsible for this cinematic universe crossover.

Godzilla vs Kong is not the first movie to bring this crossover on screen. The earlier crossover was King Kong vs Godzilla, the Toho studios distributed a Japanese movie released in 1962.

From November 2018 to April 2019, the principal photography was done in Australia, Hong Kong, and Hawaii. Godzilla vs Kong 2020 made headlines when the creators gave an estimated release date.

Earlier, the Godzilla vs Kong release date was set on 22nd May 2020, which was later pushed to November, but it was postponed again because of the covid pandemic. Godzilla vs Kong 2020 was a much-anticipated movie because of its long wait of five years.

Leaks and Plot According to the Movie Trailer

The fourth installment of the franchise pits the gigantic Godzilla against the mighty King Kong as humans watch. This crossover of the universe is long due. The MonsterVerse fans have been curious about the duel since the idea was first made public.

The first Godzilla vs Kong leak happened because of a marketing method of Warner Bros. A brief clip of the movie was released during the Brazilian Comic-Con Experience as a part of Warner Bros reel. This clip was later leaked online.

The Godzilla vs Kong leak was not limited to the movie.

In April 2020, some images of figurines from the movie were leaked, giving away the different forms of King Kong and Godzilla and revealed another monster named Nozuki.

The movie will be based in the year 2018. It has been 45 years since King Kong last fought the humans for Kong Skull Island. Despite this, it can be assured that this movie might be a good thing about 2021. As more and more fans are eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of the movie, one can only imagine the response the actual movie would get.
